Tony Nguyen is the Founder and Managing Director of Meraki Group. He launched his self-funded search in June of 2023, with the goal of acquiring his first ownership stake within 36 months.

He is the son of an entrepreneur father, who immigrated to the US in 1975, and went on to run a successful engineering and manufacturing consultancy for many years. It was in the machine shop of that company that Tony gained a penchant for manufacturing and engineering.

His industry experience includes nearly a decade in the aerospace industry, where he was successful in roles such as design and systems engineering, and management consulting. His time in aerospace allowed him to hone his skills in manufacturing support, complex systems integration and enterprise systems implementations. Since leaving the industry, Tony has been in software & tech as a Solutions Engineer; architecting process and digital maturity success solutions for customers in the design and manufacturing industries.

Tony completed his undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering in 2012, followed up by a Master of Science in the same field in 2016. He completed his business degree in 2021, gaining his MBA from the Daniels College of Business.
